Sofia’s Pyramid™ is a global learning initiative created and developed by Discovery K12 that invites children everywhere to participate in a shared educational experience. 1. Purpose of Sofia’s Pyramid™
Sofia’s Pyramid™ is an educational project designed to inspire children through creativity, storytelling, history, and hands-on learning.
The platform allows families and educators to explore lessons and, where permitted, share creative pyramid builds, images, or videos for educational display.
2. Eligibility & Use by Children
Sofia’s Pyramid is intended for use by children under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or educator.
- Children may not submit content independently.
- All submissions must be made by an adult with legal authority over the child.
- By submitting content, you confirm that you are the child’s parent, guardian, or authorized educator and have the legal right to share the material.
3. Submission Guidelines
Who May Submit
Submissions must be made by:
- A parent
- A legal guardian
- An educator
Children should not submit content on their own.
What You May Submit
We welcome creative, educational content related to Sofia’s Pyramid™, including:
- Photos of pyramid builds
- Short videos of pyramid projects
- Images of hands-on learning activities inspired by lessons
- Creative interpretations of pyramids using safe materials
Submissions should celebrate learning, creativity, and storytelling.
What You May NOT Submit
To protect children and the community, please do not submit content that includes:
- Full names of children
- School names or uniforms with identifiable logos
- Exact addresses, landmarks, or precise locations
- Inappropriate language, symbols, or gestures
- Commercial advertising or branding
- Copyrighted material you do not own or have permission to use
For safety, we strongly recommend avoiding clear images of children’s faces, though this is not required.
Image & Video Standards
- Keep videos short and appropriate
- Ensure projects are clearly visible
- Focus on the build or activity, not the child
- No explicit or copyrighted background music
- All content must be family-friendly
Location Display
When submitting content, users may select a country.
- Only the country-level location will be displayed publicly
- No precise or personal location data is shown
- Submissions may appear grouped by country on the global map
4. Review & Approval Process
All submissions are reviewed before appearing on the site.
Sofia’s Pyramid™ reserves the right to:
- Approve or decline any submission
- Edit content for clarity or safety
- Remove content at any time
- Decline to publish submissions without explanation
Submission does not guarantee publication.
5. License to Use Submitted Content
By submitting content, you grant Sofia’s Pyramid™ and DK12 Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and share the content for:
- Educational purposes
- Website features
- Community showcases
- Global map display
- Promotional or informational materials related to Sofia’s Pyramid™
No compensation will be provided for submitted content.
6. Privacy & Children’s Safety
Sofia’s Pyramid™ is committed to protecting children’s privacy.

- Only country-level location data may appear
- Submissions are reviewed for safety and appropriateness
- Data is handled responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws
